Afia Schwarzenegger has reignited controversy with a scathing video targeting TV3, its management, and celebrated media personality Nana Aba Anamoah.
In the TikTok video, Afia took a jab at the station, claiming that Nana Aba Anamoah was fired from TV3 for misconduct before moving on to a better offer at EIB Network under Bola Ray.
Afia further criticized the Managing Director of TV3, accusing her of being “complacent” and failing to maintain professional standards among the station’s news reporters. Her remarks were sparked by the ongoing controversy surrounding Captain Smart, an employee of Media General, the parent company of TV3.
While her comments reminded people of the controversial circumstances under which Nana Aba left TV3, Afia’s video was met with heavy criticism online. Many social media users suggested that her actions were fuelled by financial struggles and desperation for relevance.
“She is so broke and hungry that she has resorted to cheap content,” one user commented. Others accused Afia of jumping on trending issues to gain attention and views for her platforms.
Despite the backlash, Afia Schwarzenegger remains unapologetic, continuing to post provocative content knowing very well that it will make her stay relevant for a while.
