A high-ranking delegation from South Africa, headed by International Relations Director-General Zane Dangor, has just come back from Washington. During their visit, they engaged with key US officials to address bilateral matters and explain Pretoria’s position on controversial policies such as the Expropriation Act. Officials from the US, including representatives from the White House and State Department, were said to be “friendly and open.” South African authorities advocate for their land policy in significant discussions with US representatives.
