According to Completesports, Spanish club Elche CF is keen on acquiring striker Umar Sadiq from Real Sociedad. Sadiq has rejoined Real Sociedad after a loan stint at Valencia during the latter part of the season. The 28-year-old made quite an impact at Valencia, netting five goals in 16 league matches. However, Carlos Corberán’s team declined the opportunity to acquire him permanently. The Nigerian player is anticipated to permanently depart from Real Sociedad this summer. The tall forward has drawn interest from teams in both Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Sadiq is under contract with Real Sociedad for three more years.
