Steven Gerrard reacts to the announcement of his daughter Lilly-Ella’s pregnancy with the son of a convicted criminal.

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has addressed the rumors about his 20-year-old daughter Lilly-Ella expecting a baby with the son of a convicted criminal. The former England captain shared his enthusiasm for the news, stating he “can’t wait” for his grandchild’s arrival. Lilly-Ella is the oldest of Gerrard’s four children, born to him and his wife, Alex Curran, on February 23, 2004. Lilly-Ella, who is also an internet personality, has reportedly been in a relationship with Lee Bryne since October 2022, and he has called her “the best person he’s ever met.” Lee is the son of Liam Bryne, the leader of an organized crime group. Liam, 44, has faced numerous criminal charges since he was a teenager. He was arrested in Spain in 2023 and recently received a five-year prison sentence after admitting guilt to conspiracy to import firearms. It has now been confirmed that Lilly-Ella and her partner Lee Bryne are expecting a child. The former shared her pregnancy news on Instagram on Sunday (January 5), displaying her ultrasound images alongside two positive pregnancy tests, a journal, and a miniature pair of baby shoes. She expressed her excitement by writing: “Our little secret: great news, a mini us is coming @leebyrne8.” Gerrard replied to her post with, “We’re excited, wonderful news and congratulations, we love you.” Gerrard is presently the manager of Al-Ettifaq, a team in the Saudi Pro League.
