At only 12 years old, Suborno Isaac Bari is making headlines with his impressive accomplishments, standing out as one of the most brilliant thinkers of his age. He has recently completed high school at Malverne High School in Long Island, New York, and is set to embark on a significant new chapter in his academic career by beginning his studies in math and physics at New York University (NYU) this fall. However, he views this as merely the start of his journey. His aspirations go well beyond just his undergraduate education, as he aims to finish a doctoral program before he reaches driving age. “I plan to graduate from college by spring 20163, when I will only be 14,” Suborno excitedly expressed, showcasing his determination and zeal for learning. “If I choose to go for a second Ph.D., it will be in physics, although my true passion is in mathematics.” Suborno’s journey is more than just notable academic accomplishments; it’s about a young boy whose love for learning started long before many kids could write their own names. He committed the periodic table to memory at just 2 years old, and by age 7, he was delivering lectures on intricate topics at universities across India. His extraordinary journey reached a new achievement recently as he became the youngest individual to graduate from his high school in Long Island. Suborno’s time in high school was far from ordinary. Following the conclusion of Year 9, he advanced quickly in his studies, moving straight to Year 12.
