For more than a year, the tension between Ousmane Sonko and Barthélémy Dias has been growing, from a fraternal relationship to a real political opposition. In view of this situation, Mame Mactar Guéye de Jamra decided to intervene by proposing a mediation to reconcile the two leaders.
