‘TGMA Is Not A Serious Body, They Ignore Hardworking Artists Like Me’ – LilWin

Kwadwo Nkansah, a famously known singer and composer from Kumawood, has criticized the TGMA organizers, claiming they are biased and neglecting dedicated musicians like him. The TGMA table favors awarding people they are familiar with rather than those who really deserve recognition for their work, according to LilWin, contrary to the saying” who the helmet fits may wear it.” Despite his many beat songs and thrilling stage performances, LilWin has been regularly overlooked for nominees, a situation he finds unsatisfactory. He thinks that the prizes lack sincerity because they don’t truly recognize artists. ” If the material came with money, I would consider the bash seriously”, he remarked, adding that receiving an award without monetary benefits is futile. The TGMA, organized by Charterhouse Ghana and sponsored by Telecel Ghana, is in its 25th time. LilWin believes that the awards program favors a select few guitarists over acknowledging hardworking players like him. Despite the lack of reputation, LilWin remains unmoved. Financial victory and entertaining his fans are more important to him than prizes. ” As long as I earn cash without TGMA, I am happy”, he boldly stated. He more emphasized his unmatched level appearance, declaring,” Ghana has just five players who can rock a step, and I am one of them”.
