Actress and philanthropist Jayne Kennedy spoke about her personal experiences, encouraging women to take their partners and family members to medical appointments to help inform everyone about what to anticipate. The discussion ended prolonged silences regarding women’s health, with audience inquiries deepening the conversation’s significance and immediacy. The second panel, “Lifting Every Voice,” which was moderated by Symone Sanders-Townsend, co-host of MSNBC’s The Weekend, concentrated on leadership, civic involvement, and the future of democracy. Panelists urged the need to safeguard voting rights and elevate the voices of Black women in the national conversation.
