The African Development Bank Group (www.AfDB). On Monday, the African Development Bank (AfDB) and Standard Bank Group (SBG) entered into a historic financial agreement aimed at boosting financing for small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) while promoting trade throughout Africa. The partnership entails an investment of R3.6 billion in a social bond along with a $200 million Risk Participation Agreement (RPA) for Standard Bank. This initiative aims to assist small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) and enhance trade.
