  The Tribunal des flagrants délits de Dakar has sentenced the director Ibrahima Marico to two years in prison with a suspended sentence and a fine of 300,000 CFA francs. He was found guilty of complicity in the dissemination of images contrary to good morals for his participation in the video “Foumou dal Baxna” by the artist minor Bibiche. According to the daily newspaper Wal Fadjri, Marico admitted to having shot the video, while specifying that he had advised the 17-year-old girl to cover herself, which she would have refused. The public prosecutor had initially asked for six months of prison, of which one month was closed.. For its part, Bibiche had been tried separately on 29 August and was placed under the supervision of the Action éducative en milieu ouvert (Aemo).
