
Tsakani – The EMPD arrested two men, aged 30 and 41, in Tsakani on February 20 for dealing with an illicit substance.
According to the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) spokesperson Zweli Dlamini, officers received a tip-off about the two selling drugs.
“The first suspect had 15 brown plastic wraps containing nyaope with an estimated street value of R1 000 and R30 cash at his residence in Tsakani Ext 10.
“In Langaville Ext 2, the tip-off landed a man in police custody following a search at the suspect’s premises.
“Officers discovered 25 brown plastic wraps containing an estimated street value of R4 300 hidden under the bed,” explained Dlamini.
The officers took the men to the Tsakane SAPS and they will appear in court soon on charges of possession and dealing in an illicit substance.
