The Prime Minister of Senegal, Ousmane Sonko, was received on Tuesday 3 June 2025 by President Julius Maada Bio at the Presidential Palace, State House, in Freetown in the framework of his official visit the day after his arrival in this country. This meeting is part of the reinforcement of bilateral relations between the two West African countries. After the stage of the Côte d’Ivoire, that of Guinea, the Prime Minister of Senegal, Ousmane Sonko arrived yesterday Monday at Feetown.. With his delegation, the President of PASTEF and the partners exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation between Senegal and Sierra Leone, particularly in the fields of trade, maritime transport and regional integration. The Head of Government took advantage of the tribute offer to convey the greetings of President Bassirou Diomaye Faye to his Sierra Leonean counterpart. The former mayor of Ziguinchor took advantage of this meeting to present the new diplomatic orientation of Senegal.
