Pape Makhawa Diouf, political leader of the Alliance for the Republic (APR) party, was placed in custody yesterday, Monday, and will be taken to court on Tuesday. On the same day, the politician Serigne Bada Kémane, also arrested for “outrageous remarks” against the Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, will also be presented to the court, according to the newspaper Libération.
