The Financial Intelligence Center has frozen all bank accounts belonging to Richard Quaye, which also includes accounts associated with Bills and Quick Credit.  

In response to a court order dated March 21, 2025, the Financial Intelligence Center ( FIC ) has frozen all of Richard Nii Armah Quaye’s bank accounts.
In addition to Quaye’s personal bank accounts, all of his companies ‘ accounts, including those of Romeo-Richlove Kweku Seshie, the Chief Executive Officer ( CEO ), and Bills Micro Credit’s, were frozen as well.
The FIC took the action in accordance with Section 56 ( 1 ) of the Anti-Money Laundering Act, 2020 ( Act 1044 ). Quaye owes about GHS 30 million in personal income tax, according to Citinewsroom.
Following Quaye’s extravagant birthday party in Accra, which attracted the participation of all the great names in Ghanaian high world, news of this activity comes days after the event.
The huge lavish 40th birthday mock held at the Black Star Square attracted the likes of Ghallywood, Kumawood, comedians, musicians, businessmen, and many others.
Quaye likewise secured the services of musicians for the occasion by paying Nigerian stars like Ramsey Nouah, Ini Edo, Stonebwoy, Davido, Efya, and Rita Dominic.
Social media users questioned where all this wealth came from for Quaye, who had just bought a$ 3 million Bugatti Chiron and a private jet just days prior to the party. He responded by saying in an interview that he was extremely rich a decade ago and that he owns near to 30 businesses.
The FIC frozen all of his records a few days after the party. After these steps, it remains to be seen if he stays rich or he emerges as the next NAM 1, reigns briefly before going bust!
