​The Government of Senegal strengthens the skills of its communicators 

  In a context where digital communication plays a pivotal role in the dissemination of public information, the Bureau d’Information et de Communication du Gouvernement (BIC-Gouv) of Senegal has organized, in partnership with Meta, a training workshop dedicated to government communicators. This event, held on Tuesday 13 October 2025, brought together more than 70 agents from the communication services and other associated entities, marking a key stage in the modernization of communication practices within the Senegalese administration. The workshop focused on the tools of the Meta platform, probably including advanced functionalities of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, adapted to the needs of public institutions. This partnership with Meta, a social networking giant, aims to equip communicators with powerful tools for more effective and targeted dissemination of government messages. According to the information available, this session allowed the exploration of topics such as the management of digital content, the fight against disinformation and the optimization of interactions with the public online. This initiative is part of a broader strategy of the Government of Senegal to enhance the transparency and effectiveness of its communication. With more than 70 participants, the event demonstrates a collective commitment to continuing training, which is essential in a media landscape in constant evolution.
