The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau has unveiled the fifth season of the Art of Black Miami Podcast. The newest series highlights impactful narratives from artists and community leaders who are Black, Afro-Latino, and part of the LGBTQ community. (Black PR Wire) MIAMI – The fifth season of the Art of Black Miami (AOBM) podcast from the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) is now available. Highlighting the narratives, experiences, and artistic paths of a vibrant and diverse set of creatives who are influencing the cultural landscape of Greater Miami and Miami Beach, the inaugural episode features visual artist and muralist Stefan Smith. The second episode, airing on May 19, focuses on Woolsler Delisfort, an autodidact documentary photographer whose photography portrays the spiritual and cultural experiences of the Haitian and Afro-Caribbean communities in Greater Miami. Led by the esteemed curator, arts advocate, and President of Diaspora Vibe Culture Arts Incubator, Rosie Gordon-Wallace, this season explores themes such as identity, social transformation, heritage, and the significance of public art. Significantly, the series broadens its perspective by featuring a discussion with Dr. Willie F. Logan, the President & CEO of Ten North Group, an organization dedicated to promoting community arts, cultural development, and opportunities for housing and wealth creation. “Over the last ten years, Art of Black Miami has acted as a vital platform to honor and enhance the vibrant cultural legacy, creativity, and impact of the Black diaspora in Greater Miami,” states Connie Kinnard, Senior Vice President of Multicultural Tourism & Development at GMCVB. “On the occasion of our 10th anniversary, we pledge to keep elevating the voices of both local and international leaders who define the essence of our destination and motivate the world with their efforts.”
