The Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko attended, this Wednesday morning, the ceremony of removal of the body of his aide de camp, Commandant Pape Mignane Ndong, who died on Tuesday 6 May 2025. On behalf of the President of the Republic, His Excellency Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, Chief of the Armed Forces, the Prime Minister has elevated the deceased to the rank of Chevalier de l’Ordre national du Lion. This honourable distinction was awarded to him in recognition of his loyal services rendered to the Nation. L’Armée nationale has saluted the memory of Commandant Ndong with a solemn tribute, retracing the exemplary career of an officer respected for his professionalism and his commitment.
