The President of the Republic of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, will pay a working visit to Lomé on Friday 25 July 2025 at the invitation of His Excellency Faure Gnassingbé Eyadéma, President of the Council of Togo. This meeting is part of the reinforcement of bilateral relations and subregional cooperation. In the context of this visit, several subjects of common interest will be addressed, including economic cooperation, security in the subregion, as well as the challenges of African integration. In the continuation of this diplomatic dynamic, the Senegalese Head of State will then travel to Monrovia, on Saturday 26 July 2025, where he will take part in the festivities marking the celebration of the National Day of Liberia, at the invitation of President Joseph Boakai.
