Angel Torres, the president of Getafe, has disclosed that Christantus Uche, the Nigerian international, is inclined to join the English Premier League. Uche had a standout season with Getafe, netting four goals and assisting six times for the La Liga team. The 22-year-old’s strong performances in midfield have attracted interest from several clubs, including Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Newcastle, and newly promoted Sunderland. Transfermarkt values the Super Eagles midfielder at €15 million, and with interest rising, a transfer from Getafe is anticipated before the new season begins. However, Torres mentioned Uche’s uncertainty regarding his future, stating, “Uche doesn’t even know what he wants; it all depends on how he feels tomorrow.
