A 51-year-old man revealed himself as the illegitimate son of ex-President Kufuor during an appearance on Oyerepa FM.
The Begoso-based heavy duty driver claims, according to information from some family members, his father is former President Kufuor, who had a sort of affair with his late mother.
He alleges that he grew up with his grandmother, unaware of his supposed royal lineage. Already a man in his 30s, he only found out about the mystery of his paternity when a friend of his mom informed him that his father is a wealthy man.
When he pressed for more details, the family friend referred him to his grandmother, who also referred him to his uncle.
His conversation with his uncle led him from Begoso to a residence in Kumasi, where he met Kufuor’s family. Despite his best efforts for over two years, he was never allowed to meet Kuffour.
The video of the conversation was shared on social media, where the consesus was that the man had a striking resemblance to Kufuor.
