​The Super Eagles compete against Ghana, Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago in an invitational tournament.    

 

Nigeria’s Super Eagles are set to participate in an invitational tournament called the ‘Unity Cup’ in London in May 2025. Other teams joining the event include Ghana’s Black Stars, Jamaica’s Reggae Boys, and Trinidad and Tobago’s Soca Warriors. The first semi-final will feature Jamaica facing Trinidad and Tobago on Tuesday, May 27. Also see: President Federation Cup: Bendel Insurance and Kwara United advance to the Round of 16. In the upcoming second semi-final, fierce rivals Nigeria and Nigeria will clash. The four competing teams will return to the field on Saturday, May 31, for a double-header featuring two matches to determine the bronze medalist, followed by the final to crown the champion of The Unity Cup 2025. Additionally, the Super Eagles are set to play a friendly against Russia in June. The three-time African champions will utilize these matches as preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa in September. – Adeboye Amosu
