The World Food Programme (WFP) of the United Nations, alongside Japan, is aiding Angola in enhancing food and water security in regions affected by drought.

The World Food Programme (WFP) of the United Nations has acknowledged a donation of $2 million from the Japanese Government to assist more than 27,000 individuals impacted by drought in southern Angola. This financial support will improve food and water security and bolster the resilience of smallholder farmers by utilizing innovative agricultural technologies from Japan. The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and Japan are working together to enhance food and water security in regions of Angola affected by drought.
