This declaration of madness has befallen Fadilou Keita

Fadilou Keita reacted strongly to some statements made by the rapper and columnist “Fou Malade” during the Jakaarlo de ce vendredi show. Indeed during the show Jakaarlo ce vendredi, the rapper Fou Malade made a number of proposals that quickly aroused controversy. Defending freedom of opinion, he declared: “If we no longer speak with our mouths, sooner or later people will speak with arms”, a phrase interpreted by some as an appeal to democratic vigilance, but denounced by others as a form of incitement to violence. Among the most virulent criticisms, the director general of the CDC, Fadilou Keita, believes that “Fou Malade is a political actor, he must be treated as such. In speaking of expression par les armes, it is an incitement to violence and should be understood to that effect”. A note that the rapper was speaking in a tense context, having recently filed a complaint against an individual who would have threatened him because of his critical positions towards Ousmane Sonko.
