In a tweet published on 4 March 2025, Aminata Touré, a Senegalese political figure and former Prime Minister, takes a strong stand against Thierno Alassane Sall, leader of the Republic of Values. She called on him to renounce his parliamentary immunity to “face justice”, accusing him of using his young militants to slander honest citizens. In a statement, Touré also announced that a direct summons would be served the next day on Aliou Diouf, the party leader of Sall, indicating that a judicial action was imminent. She concludes by denouncing “the hatred and jealousy” as the only drivers of her detractors, a message aimed at reaffirming her credibility with the Senegalese.
This is the first time I have seen him.
