This is the first time that the European Parliament has been asked to vote on a resolution on the situation in the Middle East.

My dear Professor. You recently affirmed, with a professorial assurance, that it is “impossible to hide a debt”. Your proposal was intended as a lesson in public economics, a warning against the approximations of the political discourse. But in reality, in its implacable brutality, you are immediately called to order: the International Monetary Fund by the voice of its director, Mrs Kristalina Georgieva, confirms the existence of a hidden debt contracted under the magisterium of Macky Sall. A revelation which, beyond simple denial, sheds light on the tension between two contradictory positions: that of the seeker of truth, and that of the militant carried away by political rage. Because it is perfectly legitimate to have political differences with the regime of President Bassirou Diomaye Faye.
