Aliou Sall, former mayor of Guédiawaye, took the floor to support the MP Farba Ngom, whose parliamentary immunity was lifted on Friday 24 January. “Like all the democrats of the country, I wish to express my total solidarity with Mr Farba Ngom and to denounce the hardening of the politician of which he is the victim”, declared Aliou Sall with indignation. In his appeal for unity and mobilization, he stressed: “All the republicans of this country must mobilize to put an end to these unjust and dangerous harassments for the peace and stability of Senegal”. Finally, Aliou Sall launched an appeal for serenity and impartial justice: “We hope that the Senegalese justice will affirm its independence and political neutrality in this matter”.
