Tinubu commends religious leaders in Lagos for their efforts in fostering harmony and peaceful coexistence.  

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has lauded the religious leaders in Lagos State for their role in promoting harmony and peaceful coexistence among various faiths, stating that their contributions are crucial to the state’s stability. He made these remarks during the ordination ceremony of Baba Aladura Prince Gbenga Adeniran-Aluko, the new spiritual leader of The Saviour’s Ministries Worldwide, Cherubim and Seraphim Church, in Alausa, Ikeja, where he was represented by Bishop Stephen T. V. Adegbite, Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC). The President expressed gratitude for the prayers and support from religious organizations towards his administration and reassured citizens that the current difficulties faced in the country would soon improve due to the reforms being enacted by his government. He congratulated Baba Aladura Adeniran-Aluko on his new position, emphasizing the need for visionary leadership within the church. He commended all religious leaders in Lagos for maintaining peace and avoiding religious intolerance, and acknowledged the state’s peaceful environment as commendable. Tinubu urged Nigerians, especially those of faith, to continue praying for the success of governments at all levels, stressing that such prayers are crucial for the nation’s advancement and development.
