The traders of the Keur Matar market in Tivaouane have decided to suspend the payment of municipal taxes until concrete solutions are found to the problems of unsanitary and insecurity that plague this commercial space. The announcement was made on Monday 22 September 2025. “The market is devoid of elementary means: no gate, no lighting, and no guardian.
