To Juan Branco, on behalf of Le Thié, brother of the struggle in Europe and in Senegal.

You have spoken with the passion of those who watch over the symbols. And this passion, I recognize it, because I have carried it myself also in the streets of Paris, in the pan-African circles, in the mobilizations for the dignity of the Senegalese people. But today, I write to you to re-establish a line of truth, and to remind you that coherence is not measured at the moment, but at the trajectory. The Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko had been invited, as guest of honour, to an event presented as “the largest business gathering in Europe”. He chose not to participate, invoking a conflict of agenda. It’s not a detail.
