Barcelona forward Ferran Torres has voiced his wish to play with Nico Williams. It’s worth noting that Barça and Athletic Bilbao are currently in a dispute regarding the Spain international, as the Barcelona club is willing to activate his €58 million release clause. While vacationing in Ibiza, Torres was questioned about Barca’s interest in his fellow Spain player. He responded to TribalFootball, saying, “I haven’t had a conversation with him. These are matters we prefer to keep private.” Also Read: WAFU B U-20 Nations Cup: Zubairu Keen to Enhance Offense as Flying Eagles Continue Training. “The best players are eager to join elite clubs, and Barça is among them. I’m unsure about what the future holds, but I hope it turns out positively.” I want to have fun with him. Having already played together on the national team, I believe we could create a strong trio alongside Lamine Yamal if the opportunity arises. Regarding his future, Torres stated: “I envision myself at Barcelona and I plan to remain at Barcelona.” I am hopeful and determined to secure my spot in the lineup at Barcelona. Torres netted 19 goals across all competitions last season, and Barcelona hopes he can replicate that performance in the 2025-26 season. With no other striker in the squad, the Spanish international is guaranteed his position for the upcoming season.
