Transfer: ‘They’re in Italy right now’ – Romano names club Ademola Lookman might join 

Transfer market expert, Fabrizio Romano has shared new information about Fenerbahçe’s continued attempts to bring in Atalanta’s winger Ademola Lookman.

The Turkish club is said to be very focused on finalizing this transfer before the deadline of the transfer window.

Romano said that Fenerbahçe are really trying to get the 28-year-old player, adding that their sports director is in Italy right now to talk to both Atalanta and the player’s agents.

He said on his YouTube channel, “Fenerbahçe in Turkey are working hard to sign Ademola Lookman. The club is working hard, and their director is in Italy right now talking to Atalanta and the player’ agents.

“Fenerbahçe are really committed to making this transfer happen. Fenerbahçe are really working hard to make it happen.”

Recall that last summer, Inter and Bayern Munich tried to sign Ademola Lookman, with some Italian and English clubs also showing interest.

But Atalanta decided to keep him now Romano said that Fenerbahçe are trying again to bring the winger to Turkey.

He said, “Now Fenerbahçe are trying again to sign Lookman. Negotiations are still happening between the player and Atalanta, and Atalanta have not ruled out the possibility of a transfer.”

Romano said that talks are going on between the club and the player, and Atalanta is still open to the idea if Fenerbahçe can fulfill the required conditions.

He said, “Atalanta might look at this option if Fenerbahçe manages to agree with the player and make a strong financial offer, so the discussions are still happening.”

Fenerbahçe are definitely trying to get Lookman signed before the transfer window ends and are staying in touch with everyone involved.
