Following a complaint lodged by a victim announcing the aggression she had suffered, the Commissariat d’arrondissement des Parcelles Assainies U15 promptly opened an investigation. The investigations led to the arrest of two (02) individuals on 20 October 2025. They were apprehended in possession of two motorcycles and a gas bomb. The assailants had intercepted the victim at the corner of the market of Unit 8, between 8 and 9 p.m., while she was returning from work in the company of her employees. On board a motorcycle, they brutalised the victim and took his bag, which contained his portable telephone de marque iPhone 12 Pro Max, a sum of money, his carte nationale d’identité, his carte de commerçante, his NINEA and his permis de conduire. Interrogated by the investigators, the two suspects have acknowledged the facts of aggression, claiming to have sold the telephone to 40 000 FCFA at the rond-point Case, to an individual met by chance. The defendants were charged with association of perpetrators, robbery in a meeting committed at night with the use of a rolling medium and possession of a neutralizing gas. They were then placed in custody.
