Two suspected kidnappers arrested in Taraba State 

Troops of Sector 3 Operation WHIRL STROKE (OPWS) have arrested two suspected kidnappers in Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State.

This was contained in a post shared on X on Friday by security analyst Zagazola Makama.

According to Makama, the operation began on March 11 at about 9 am, when security personnel moved to Arufu Village.

“They apprehended a suspect who initially denied involvement but later admitted to participating in kidnapping incidents earlier in February.

“A follow-up investigation led to the arrest of another accomplice at Chinkai Village. Items recovered from the suspects included two mobile phones, a locally made knife, and the sum of N21,520,” Makama wrote.

The suspects and the recovered items are currently in the custody of the troops as investigations continue.
