U-20 WWCQ: Senegal’s Lionesses settle down in Abeokuta ahead Falconets clash

Senegal’s Lionesses have arrived Abeokuta for their 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup third round, first leg qualifying match against the Falconets of Nigeria.

The game will hold at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta, on Saturday.

The Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan, was initially scheduled to host the tie but it was moved to Abeokuta due to poor playing surface of the ground.

The Senegal girls held their first training session since arriving Nigeria on Wednesday night.

They will have a feel of the Moshood Abiola Stadium on Friday.

The winner of the tie will confront the winner of the Guinea Bissau/Malawi fixture for a place at the tournament in Poland later this year.
