U.K Based Ghanaian Student Arrested in Nigeria for Drug Trafficking

National Drug and Law Enforcement Agency ( NDLEA ) was arrested last week for drug smuggling.
The scholar, identified as Osei Parker Darren Hazekia, was detained while trying to pass through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Abuja while being detained with more than 19.4 kilograms of a high-grade burden of marijuana known as “loud.”
While conducting routine testing of travellers arriving from Bangkok, Thailand, on African Airlines, NDLEA officers discovered the University of East London computer technology person’s hoard.
According to NDLEA director Femi Babafemi, a research conducted in his bag turned up the medicines, which were concealed in the covering of his “oversized go bag.” The drugs were almost 20 kilograms. The NDLEA director didn’t assign them any road value.
Parker allegedly told police that he had left the UK and was supposed to deliver the medicines to another phone in Nigeria before heading to Bangkok. If found guilty, the Ghanaian could spend up to 15 years in prison.
