Real Madrid fullback, Trent Alexander-Arnold, has described Federico Valverde as the most underrated footballer on the planet.
Alexander-Arnold was speaking to TNT Sports, after Valverde netted a hat-trick against Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Wednesday night.
The Uruguay midfielder scored all three goals in the first half at the Bernaebu.
“I am running out of words for him [Federico Valverde] as a player,” Alexander-Arnold said.
“He is undoubtedly the most underrated footballer on the planet.
“When you play with him you understand how much he gives to the team. He covers every blade of grass and gives his all.”
