UCL: Paul Merson tips two EPL clubs to reach final 

Paul Merson, former Arsenal player, has tipped two Premier League clubs to reach the UEFA Champions League final this season.

He noted that he won’t be surprised to see an all-English final in the Champions League if the knockout draws go in favour of the English clubs.

Merson stated this following the conclusion of this week’s Champions League matches.

At the moment, apart from Manchester City, the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Chelsea are currently in the top eight on the Champions League table.

“There is no competition that is as hard as the Premier League. Liverpool winning comfortably in the Champions League against Marseille proves it,” Merson said via Sportskeeda.

“Barring Manchester City, all five of the other English teams are in the top eight of the Champions League table.

“I won’t even be surprised if it’s an all-English final this season, if the knockout draws go in favour of our teams,” he said.
