Senegal is going through a historic phase which requires lucidity, commitment and overcoming. The people, in an act of remarkable political maturity, carried to the head of the State President BASSIROU DIOMAYE DIAKHAR FAYE, a man of conviction and integrity. His democratic, free and transparent election gives him a double strength: constitutional legality and popular legitimacy. At its side, the Prime Minister OUSMANE SONKO, leader of the fight for sovereignty and social justice, embodies a strong hope: that of a Senegal reconciled with its values, freed from impunity, turned towards work, equity and dignity. This duo, born of the popular will, represents the firm will to break with the logic of predation, institutional manipulations, economic compromises and political betrayals. Today the people have spoken, and it is time to make bloc around this new cap.. This presupposes a genuine national synergy, a transcendence of partisan divisions, of old grudges and of personal interests. The time is for loyalty to the nation, for abnegation in the face of privilege, for humility in the face of the task, and for sacrifice for future generations. Those who yesterday still squandered the resources of the country are today trying, in the shadows or in the open, to organize the check on the recovery in progress.
