​Unity Cup: Black Stars Outclass Trinidad & Tobago 4-0 To Clinch Third Place    

 

Ghana’s Black Stars bounced back from their defeat to Super Eagles of Nigeria with a dominant 4-0 win against Trinidad and Tobago, in the Unity Cup 2025 third-placed play-off in London on Saturday.. Goals from Jordan Ayew, Razak Simpson, Mohammed Fuseini and Lawrence Agyekum secured the emphatic win for the Black Stars.. While the four-time Africa Cup of Nations winners went into the game on the back of a 2-1 loss to the Super Eagles, Trinidad and Tobago lost 3-2 to Jamaica.. Ayew opened the scoring for the Black Stars in the 6th minute before Simpson doubled the lead on 14 minutes.. With three minutes left in the first half Fuseini added the third goal while Agyekum wrapped up the tie with the fourth goal.. Meanwhile, the final of this year’s Unity Cup will be contested by the Super Eagles and Jamaica.. In the 2004 edition also held in England the Super Eagles triumphed 2-0.
