Yesterday, the Director of Prevention warned of the circulation of the Mpox virus in Dakar. This Thursday, the Ministry of Health informs that new cases have been registered.. “As of 25 September 2025, we count four (4) positive cases, of which the first case is cured. Therefore there are three (3) cases who are in hospitalisation at the service des maladies infectieuses de l’hôpital Fann”, indicated le Dr. Amadou Sow, coordinator of the communication unit of the Ministry of Health.
