The Minister of the Interior and Public Security, Mr Mouhamadou Bamba Cissé, paid a visit to the Samba Diéry Diallo Barracks on 14 October 2025. He was welcomed by the Général de division Martin Faye, Haut-commandant de la Gendarmerie nationale et Directeur de la Justice militaire. According to a note from the Ministry, this visit, rich in lessons, allowed the Minister to appreciate the level of commitment and professionalism of the elite corps of the National Gendarmerie. Me Bamba Cissé expressed his pride in collaborating with the Gendarmerie nationale and congratulated the organizers as well as the participants for the brilliant demonstrations carried out on site.
