President Bola Tinubu will welcome the triumphant Super Falcons and the officials of the Nigerian women’s football team at the State House in Abuja this coming Monday, according to DAILY POST. The Super Falcons are anticipated to return to Nigeria from Morocco later on Sunday night. The President is expected to reward both the players and their officials generously. Notably, Tinubu had approved the payment of the team’s pending bonuses and allowances just before their Saturday final match against the host team, Atlas Lionesses of Morocco. The Super Falcons made a remarkable comeback, overcoming a two-goal deficit to defeat the North African team 3-2 in the final, marking their 10th WAFCON title victory.
