Four players from the Flying Eagles have been named in the Best XI of the Group Stage at the 2025 WAFU B U-20 Championship. The selected players are centre-back Ahmed Akinyele, left-back Odinaka Okoro, winger Bidemi Amole, and Muhammed Abdullahi, who has netted two goals for Nigeria during the tournament. A player from Burkina Faso was added to the team. Cote d’Ivoire’s coach, Younes Zerdouk, received the title of Coach of the Group Stage.
