Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi has said that if President Donald Trump of the United States wants an escalation, he will get it.
Araghchi issued this stern warning on Saturday as the hostility between the two countries enters day 7.
DAILY POST had reported that Trump earlier said Iran would be hit very hard and warned of possible expansion of targets.
Responding, the foreign minister said, “If US President Donald Trump wants an escalation, he will get it.”
Recall that the tensions started last Saturday when the United States and its ally, Israel launched air strikes on Iran resulting in the death of Iranian Supreme Leader and other notable top government officials.
The hostility has continued with several interchange of missiles and drones attacks, which have claimed many lives in the process.
