War: ‘They’re saying he’s dead’ – Trump on Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khameini

President Donald Trump has said that there are speculations regarding the potential death of Iran’s newly appointed supreme leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei.

According to Trump, some individuals are already asserting that Mojtaba has passed away, while others believe he is critically ill in the hospital with a severely injured leg.

Mojtaba sustained serious injuries during the US-Israel strikes in the initial moments of the conflict, which has now persisted for over two weeks.

His father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with other close relatives, perished in that very assault.

“Many people are claiming that he’s been severely disfigured,” Trump remarked to reporters at a White House event on Monday.

“They’re suggesting that he has lost his leg and has been gravely injured. Others are claiming he’s dead.”

The US president highlighted the absence of the Ayatollah in public since he assumed the role of Iran’s supreme leader eight days ago.

Trump stated, “he’d spew hate from his chair,” but noted, “this one we haven’t seen at all.”

“We are uncertain about who their leader is,” Trump informed reporters during a White House event. “We have individuals eager to negotiate. We have no knowledge of who they are.”

The new Supreme Leader issued a statement last week in which he pledged to avenge the death of his family members, particularly his father, the former Supreme Leader.
