Spokesperson of the Iranian military, Ebrahim Zolfaqari, says the United States is negotiating with itself.
Zolfaqari made the assertion on Wednesday, noting that Iran would never come to terms with America.
DAILY POST reports that the rebuttal is coming after US President Donald Trump insisted that Iran wants a deal so badly and noted on Tuesday that Iran gave the US a very big present worth a tremendous amount of money.
“The US is negotiating with itself. Someone like us will never come to terms with someone like you,” he said.
The US has reportedly handed over a 15-point peace plan, which includes Iran dismantling nuclear facilities, in exchange for lifting of sanctions
Meanwhile, Iran’s mission to the UN says “non-hostile vessels” can pass through the Strait of Hormuz – some ships from China, India and Pakistan have already been passing through the vital waterway.
