Scotts Maphuma, the West African Amapiano experience, headlined the Scottland FC 2025 system opening event in Harare, Zimbabwe on Wednesday nights.
Throughout the day, Zimbabwean designers Jah Prayzah, Mathias Mhere, and Feli Nandi gave wonderful performances. With their upbeat set, they kept the audience entertained. During the event, the league unveiled the new Adidas-designed kit, which features a contemporary and modern design that perfectly embodies its new identity.

Scottland FC: A Club on the Rise
One of the newest divisions in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League ( ZPSL), Scottland FC, rose up before the 2025 season to become a champion team. Due to its well-known signings and strong financial backing, the club, which is owned by businessman Pedzisayi’Scott ‘ Sakupwanya, has fast become a significant conversation point in Zimbabwean football.
Khama Billiat Leads Star-Studded Scottland FC Squad
The team made a statement by acquiring Zimbabwean legend Khama Billiat, and they are expecting a key player in their plan. Another notable additions include 2024 Soccer Star of the Year Walter Musona, leading scorer Lynoth Chikuhwa, and former keeper Peter Muduhwa. Expectations are great for Scottland FC to execute well in their comeback season with such a brilliant squad.
Sponsorship and Financial Backing Agreements
The team has reportedly signed a US$ 1.5 million funding cope with Sakunda Holdings, according to The Herald. Secondly, The Chronicle reports that IMC Communications, owned by business Wicknell Chivayo, has contributed another US$ 1 million to the team. With these large endorsements, Scottland FC’s foundation has been drastically strengthened, enabling them to compete efficiently at the highest levels in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League.
