The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has reinstated the Mandate Secretary for Education, Dr Danlami Hayyo and Acting Executive Chairman of the FCT Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS), Mr Michael Ango.
Their reinstatement was contained in a statement on Wednesday, by the Senior Special Assistant to the Minister of Public Communication and Social Media, Lere Olayinka.
The Minister vowed never to tolerate any act of indiscipline among officials of the FCTA.
He directed Danlami Hayyo and Michael Ango to resume duty with immediate effect.
Wike had suspended Hayyo following reports of early closure of schools within the FCT due to security concerns in November.
FCTA had denied reports that schools were asked to close by November 28, 2025.
