With assistance from FPL, the Pace Center for Girls Broward has revealed an updated outdoor area where the girls can unwind, contemplate, and rejuvenate.  

The Pace Center for Girls Broward, its board, and staff are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for girls to build healthy relationships, plan for their future, and overcome histories of trauma. The area is equipped with a solar light, bench for rest and reflection, and a plaque engraved with an inspiring quote by Maya Angelou ( Black PR Wire ). The Pace Center provides women with a variety of tools to best address both their developmental and social support needs. The organization recently unveiled a new outdoor space with a bench, chair for relaxation and reflection, and plaque engraved with a Maya Angelou quotation from the center, which was sponsored by Florida Power &amp, Light Company ( FPL). FPL is dedicated to improving areas by empowering them through their work, education, and raising families. And a part of that responsibility is to help organizations like the Pace Center for Girls in Broward. The girls have the opportunity to connect and discover their inner power while they are at Pace, and the new space provides a quiet retreat there. Up, the organizations are making a brighter prospect for the upcoming years. ###
