​World Cup 2026 Qualifying in play: Les Lions du Sénégal face to their fate against le Togo 

  After their match nul (0-0) against Sudan, Saturday evening in Benghazi (Libye), the Lions du Sénégal returned to Dakar this Sunday. This meeting was for the fifth day of the African qualifiers of the World Cup 2026. The information has been confirmed by the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF). Without delay, the Lions left Benghazi at the final whistle, on board a special flight chartered by Air Sénégal. On arrival at the Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD), they rejoined their hotel in Diamniadio in order to recuperate and prepare for their next challenge. From this afternoon, the men of Pape Thiaw will resume training, with their confrontation against Togo, scheduled this Tuesday at the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium. As this decisive meeting approaches, the Senegalese are playing big. A success against the Éperviers is imperative to remain in the course à la qualification.
